2009 Augusta County Market Animal Show
Here's Kelsey with her market lamb,
who came in 4th in his class.  This was
Kelsey's first year showing and she
had a lot of fun and did a great job!
Here's Cody with one of his two sheep.
This one placed second in its class
and was Reserve Division Champion.
Here's Cody with his second sheep.
They placed first in their class.  Cody
had two sheep in the championship
drive and had a great day.
Here's Cody with his Reserve Division
4 Champion.  We would like to thank
Hickory Hill Farm in Blacksburg, VA for
these great lambs.
Shenandoah Summer Prospect Lamb and Meat Goat Show
Kelsey is very excited because she
turned 9 this year and is finally able to
show at 4-H and FFA shows.  Here she
is clipping her wether "George" to get
ready for a show.
Here's Cody and his goat in their
showmanship class.
Here's Kelsey with her wether George.
If you look at her face you can tell she
is very proud to have won Grand
Champion Junior Showman.  She had
a lot of competition and worked very
hard in the weeks leading up to the
show.  We're very proud of her.
Congratulations, Kelsey!
Here's Cody and his wether Wyatt.
Cody was the Grand Champion
Showman at the 2009 Shenandoah
Summer Prospect Lamb & Meat Goat
Show!  Congratulations, Cody!
Here's Cody and Honey.  They were
the Reserve Champion in the special
class for goats bought at the Annual
Shenandoah County Club Lamb, Pig,
and Goat Sale.  Thanks to Terry
Gochenour from Skyline Farm for
Kelsey's wether George and Honey.
Here is Klay showing his first ever goat
at the 2007 Mid-Atlantic Youth Jackpot
Meat Goat Show.  At this time he
needed his big brother Cody and his
green binki!
Here's Klay showing in May 2009 at
the Blue Ridge Show.  He doesn't need
his binki, but he still needs his big
brother Cody
Here's Klay showing at the Firecracker
Classic in July.  No binki, and no Cody.
This time he did it on his own, and he
even tried to set up his wether's feet.
We want to thank the Firecracker
Classic for having a "Special"
showmanship class for the little guys!
They all did a great job and it was a
blast to watch.
Congratulations on a great job
showing your wether, Klay.  Cody says
he learned from the best!
2009 Firecracker Classic Boer Goat Show
in West Virginia
This is Teresa.  She placed 1st in
her class in both shows and was
Reserve Champion Yearling
Percentage Doe in both shows.
Thanks to Rebel Ridge Boer
Goats for selling her to us!
This is Morgan, who also placed 1st in
her class in both shows.  She was
also the Reserve Champion Jr.
Percentage Doe in the 2nd show.
Thanks to SNT Valley Farms for
raising this doe.  Cody went to visit
them and fell in love with Morgan.  He
finally got to buy her at a sale, and
he's very happy with her.
This is Dixie Girl.  She placed 3rd
in both shows.  We are really
excited because we raised her,
and she is out of Dixie and Mater.
